I'm looking for talented photographers to join me as an associate shooter, second shooter, content creator, or photography assistant for weddings, elopements, portrait sessions, and creative retreats/content days throughout California. If you love capturing genuine moments and telling love stories through your lens, I'd love to work with you.


I believe in building a collaborative team where we support each other's growth. Whether you're looking to gain more experience in the wedding industry or expand your portfolio, I'm here to help you develop your skills while we create beautiful work together. I'll provide guidance to keep our style consistent, but I also value your creative eye and unique perspective.




What I'm Looking For:

  • Photographers who can shoot confidently in manual mode
  • Someone who adapts well to changing lighting and fast-paced wedding environments
  • A team player who's reliable, professional, and genuinely enjoys being part of someone's special day
  • Availability for weekend events with a flexible schedule
  • Willingness to travel throughout the SF Bay Area, Napa, Big Sur/Carmel/Monterey, and other beautiful California locations (with potential for out-of-state weddings as we expand)

Compensation + Expectations


Second Shooters Experienced photographers who have second/lead shot at least 10 weddings

  • Rate: $65-$85/hour depending on experience + travel
  • Must have professional gear and ability to work independently alongside lead photographer


Associate Photographers Photographers who may lead weddings, elopements, portrait sessions or smaller events under our brand (minimum lead shot 20+ weddings)

  • Rate: $150-$200/hour for weddings and sessions + travel
  • Higher responsibility level, may shoot events semi-independently


Content Creators Creating social media content for both our brand and client deliverables

  • Day rate: $400-$800 for weddings, events, and creative content days/retreats depending on scope
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content, reels, TikToks, and real-time stories
  • Quick turnaround expected for social media content


Photography Assistants Supporting the team with gear, lighting, logistics, and BTS content

  • Day rate: $200-$400 for weddings
  • Hourly: $25-$50/hour
  • Less shooting experience required, focused on support (holding gear, changing battery, changing film, etc.), and behind-the-scenes


Travel

  • Mileage reimbursement or travel fee provided for locations outside the immediate Bay Area (Napa, Big Sur, Carmel, Monterey, etc.)


What Affects Your Rate:

  • Experience level and portfolio quality
  • Whether you shoot digital, film, or hybrid
  • Equipment you provide (shooting with one camera body vs dual camera bodies, mirrorless)
  • Complexity and length of the event
