FAQ

How are you handling cancellations and rescheduling with COVID?

If you need to cancel, retainers are non-refundable. But I am not charging any rescheduling fees as long as I am available for the new, rescheduled date!

What cities are included in the South Bay Area?

The South Bay Area or Santa Clara Valley includes the cities of:
→ Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Jose, Santa Clara, Saratoga and Sunnyvale.

When should I book?

→ Booking at least a month ahead is ideal to lock in your date even before you receive your cap and gown! The earlier the better since it could get hectic towards the end of the school year.

How and when should we pay you?

→ Venmo, Zelle, major credit cards, debit cards, and ACH/bank transfers are accepted via your client portal.

→ a 20% non-refundable retainer is required to book portrait sessions and to secure your date.

→ The rest is due the day of the session/your first session.

When and how do we receive our photos?

→ WHEN: Sneak peeks within 1 week from our session & 1 to 3 weeks on the finished gallery.

→ HOW: I'll send a gallery with the finished, high-res photos via email for you to download and share.

How far do you travel?

→ I travel anywhere in the Bay Area / NorCal and beyond!

→ Airfare, stay, and / or transportation are to be covered if needed.

How much do you charge for travel?

→ Travel fee of $1.00/mile one way apply to locations beyond the listed mileage in each package from 95132.

→ Travel within South Bay Area is equivalent to 25 miles from 95132.

Can I extend the session after booking / on the day of?

→ Yes, definitely! If you end up needing more time and there are no sessions scheduled after yours, extra time can be requested and added to your package.

Can I add additional hours and locations to my package?

→ Yes, an additional half-hour is $100, an additional hour is $200.

→ Additional Locations: Travel fees of $1.00/mile from your first location to the additional location will be charged.

Do I have to order prints through you?

→ Not at all! You'll have printing rights meaning you can order your prints anywhere as long as they're used for personal reasons!

→ The online gallery that I deliver does have a print store where you can directly choose and order prints with a professional photo lab that makes high-quality prints.

Can you send us the "raw" pictures?

→ Nope!
1. I literally shoot in a “RAW” format on my camera to retain better details especially when editing.

2. You’re hiring me for the photos you see on here which are my fully edited, finished work with nice and crisp colors and quality.

→ Giving the “raw”, unedited photos is like a chef giving you an unseasoned, bland dish. So please trust me & the process!

When is the best time to take photos?

→ Lighting is typically best around sunrise and sunset. Season, location, and weather come into play for lighting as well!
